Acrylic has made a comeback in interior design through use in furniture accessories. During this seminar Sean McFadden, Vice President of Interlude Home, will present what acrylic is, its history, and how it’s manufactured. The history of use in home furnishings and relevance today will be discussed, as well as how to best incorporate it and care for it.

Sean McFadden is a partner in Interlude Home and Interlude Custom Upholstery for over 20 years. He has been responsible for the designer outreach and since joining Interlude. Prior to that experience Sean has extensive experience in the tabletop industry. Committed to both better goods and education he makes understanding both the design and materials a priority. Knowledgeable in various aspects of design and fabrication he brings a practical product approach to training. Extensive travel and trend seeking keeps him looking for what’s next. Sean loves to pull back the curtain on how styles are made and explain some of the tricks of the trade in furniture design
