On February 8, 2016, IDS expanded its reach to Sarasota and added a fifth showroom, Fabric, to its existing collection of four showrooms in Naples, FL. Initially carrying both fabric and furniture, Fabric is now solely dedicated to fabric, hardware, bedding and wall coverings.

Vanguard Studio

The Vanguard Studio showroom presents the namesake line in a renovated 4,000 sq. ft. showroom (formerly Hickory Chair within IDS Fabric). Opened March 1, 2023, the studio creates a show space which features the wide range of the product line and all the convenience of the Design Lab, including Vanguard 3D Visualizer and Customizable Program product buildout programs.

In October 2017, a second Sarasota showroom, Furniture, opened across the street from the original location to house furniture, art, and accessories, as well as the Lighting and Rug Galleries. Like our Naples’ showrooms, IDS Sarasota’s extensive selection will indulge your need for choices and diverse lines of furniture, fabrics, wall coverings, hardware, bedding and accessories.

Combining Hickory Chair with the entire brand family, the Rock House Designer Brands by International Design Source (RHB) showroom opened to the trade on March 1, 2023. Showcasing the entire product range of Century, Hancock & Moore, Hickory Chair, Highland House, Jessica Charles, Maitland Smith, and Pearson, this collaboration marks the first of its kind showroom in the US. The newly acquired and remodeled 12,000 square foot showroom houses a broad selection of the entire high-end product range from furniture and casegoods to lighting and upholstery in distinct brand areas.

Marketplace + Outdoor

In October 2018, our seventh showroom, Marketplace, opened with 7,000 sq. ft. of floor space and expanded in April 2024 to 11,000 sq. ft. It houses a curated collection of indoor furniture, accessories, rugs, and vintage pieces, as well as the larger and newly remodeled Outdoor Furniture. Marketplace’s offerings are constantly changing to offer the most current and in-demand styles.
